Got my dreams, got my life, got my love

Got my friends got the sunshine above

Why am I making this hard on myself

When there’s so many beautiful reasons

I have to be

happy!

I heard this from Natasha Bedingfield's song "Happy" and it really puts things in perspective for me.

And these are my 2 MOST beautiful reasons!!!

I love my kids!!!

Holy Idaho!

Oh my word!! Madilyn is absolutely terrified of Mr. Potato Head.

She screams like there is no tomorrow. After MUCH coaxing, she decided the he MIGHT be okay if Mommy is holding me. It was absolutely hilarious!

This is the paper Austin brought home from school today. He has really started reading and writing. He now has spelling tests at school and is super excited about homework. I am so proud of him!!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Happy Easter!!

The Easter Bunny visited us today!! The kids got baskets full of candy, toys, and all sorts of goodies! Madi and Austin were so excited. We also did an Easter egg sacvenger hunt. It was alot of fun. We had Easter pictures taken last weekend and these are the proofs...the kids are so adorable (although Madi wouldn't cooperate at all!). Austin had another t-ball game this past Saturday. He hit 2 doubles and played 3rd base. He is quite the athlete and Madi enjoys going to the ballgames.

Austin's First T-ball Practice Game

Austin is playing t-ball at Gospel Projects. He plays on the War Eagles.
Today was his first practice game. He was SO excited! The whole family came out to watch
his ball debut. We had a slight disaster when we first got there. Austin came up to the fence with crocodile tears in his eyes. He said, "I'm so disappointed in myself." I asked him why
and he said that he forgot his glove. Luckily, the coach had it and he was able to get it together before the game. Austin played first base and short stop. He stopped the ball several times and looked like a real ball player out there. He is an excellent batter! He hit it out to the fence almost every time. He was most proud when he hit a double. He was grinning from ear to ear. I am looking forward to ball season and expect by the end of the year, Austin will be hitting it over the fence.

GO WAR EAGLES!!!!
