Austin's First Field Trip

Madilyn and I decided to join Austin on his first field trip. We went to the Gulfarium.
The dolphin show was fun to watch. Austin's favorite trick
was when the trainer held a fish in her mouth and the dolphin
jumped up and took it.

The touch tank was also a big hit. They had all kinds of sea creatures you could pick up and feel. Madi was more into splashing everyone!

We did so many fun things. We watched a sea lion show. In the shark tank we saw lots of sharks and a giant sea turtle. The fish tanks were full of beautiful tropical fish. We had a picnic lunch at the beach before we left. It was a great day!!!

The Art of Music

Austin brought home this work of art from school today. After much contemplation, I decided to ask, "Austin, this is great! What is it?" He looked up at me and replied, "I can't remember what it is but I call it THE ART OF MUSIC."
How precious is that??

They'll Never Believe It!

This past weekend, D taught Austin had to ride his bike with "2 wheels."

He had some crashes and falls, but he never gave up. He was very determined!!!

When he finally got it, he told me to get my camera out and take pictures to send to Kiera and Brittany. He said, "They'll never believe it!!" So proud!!!

Spring Break

Whew! What fun had on Spring Break!! We all needed a break from the routine and this week was full of lots of fun!

The first part of the week was cloudy and rainy, so we tried to stay entertained at home. We had a blast playing outside with bubbles!!

On Tuesday night, Austin and I went to the fair. We had alot of fun together...just the two of us (although the Austin kept saying, "I wish Madi was here."). We rode rides, talked, and shared a funnel cake. Austin's favorite ride was the Fun Slide because (and I quote) "it makes you want to throw up, but you don't." We had a blast and were very tired by the time the night was over.

Finally on Thursday, we had a sunny day! The first one all week. We went to Navarre beach and soaked up the sun. We played and collected live sand dollars at the beach for about 4 hours and then headed over the bridge to play at the Navarre park. The kids loved the splash pad (unfortunately my camera battery went dead as soon as we arrived)!

All in all, the week was a blast!! I wouldn't have traded it for the world!!!
